Hurricane/Tropical Storm Sandy has come and gone (mostly) and now we wait for the seas to calm down some, for the wind to back to the Northwest and for our friends to arrive tomorrow afternoon. Meanwhile there is a never ending list of little things to do, fix or clean which keeps us busy.
The boat survived without scratch, only one odd thing. The whisker pole, which was attached to the mast was not here this morning when we got to the boat, it did not appear to fall off as there would have been other damage, we are hoping a good samaritian saw that it was loose or something and took it down for us.

We bought a Spot Connect transmitter which sends our position linked to either it’s own map or a google map. The position reports are only sent when we send them and hopefully they will appear with the link to the map on this page. Spot requires a "name" so Greenspot is what you may actually be able to track.

Our plan as of now is to leave early Friday morning which should allow us a great first few days. We will pass on more information as we get it.
